No. 192 - Interlude (145 Hudson Street) - Part I.

It's raining in New York today and an hour ago I walked from the office down Hudson Street toward Interlude, a coffee shop in Tribeca, which carries the perfect name for a coffee shop: a place that you pop into for an interlude from your day, then step out of in order to begin your day anew.

It's places like Interlude that make this city livable. The ceilings are high and the decor is industrial though not without warmth. A good coffee shop is a safe haven, a place where no one asks anything of you but to spend a few dollars for a cup of joe, or a pot of tea.
