No. 63 - A Quiet Place to Sit and Think.

September 26th, 2019

Find Twentieth Street then walk all the way east.

Step over the bike path, walk past the metal benches and look for a pier: the New York City Ferry Service, East Twentieth Street.

Walk the forty-foot pier that connects the Island of Manhattan to the ferry docks, one facing north, the other south.

Then at four in the afternoon, you can sit out there alone and in silence, just feeling the waves of the river beneath your feet, sway gently.
