Each year the Curlew journey feels more important, and more pressing, yet also brings more joy and inspiration. As the journal grows, personally, I'm gifted with the opportunity to change and grow along with it. There can't be any other way. I'm grateful to each of our contributors over the last two years, and am excited to announce more details regarding Issue No. 7 - Autumn 2019 later this week.
Its launch at the end of this month feels at once long overdue and also right on time. For now, one photograph from Emily Fishman of one of the most important places in my lifetime to date, the Kongo, at 68 Jay Street, Suite 503, the birthplace for Curlew Quarterly, where it all began.
All of our best,
